Cooperation between Hightech and the Russian developer and integrator «Bars Group» began in 2015.
«Bars Group»
«Bars Group» is a subsidiary of the National Information Center (part of Rostech State Corporation). One of the first domestic IT manufacturers creating state information systems based on cloud technologies. Among the company's projects are the “Budget Planning” system for the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, a single state information system in the health sector, a monitoring system for preparations for the 2018 World Cup, and others.
We, as a major vendor, constantly need fresh resources and assistance in certain issues - when there is a technological stack that is not peculiar to us. Since our colleagues are competent in their field, we decided to cooperate, and this cooperation has been going on for two years now.
Anatoly MladshevDeputy CEO, «Bars Group»The first joint project was the implementation of three modules of accounting subsystems in real time of one large federal project. First, the developers of Hightech were involved in the processes of the integrator, and later they transferred specific modules for development. The Hightech team on the project ranged from five to eight people. The project was closed on time.
Working with a large federal customer is different from our usual format. From the client’s side there is no one representative who can call and clarify details. We are greatly helped by the Bars Group analysts, taking upon themselves a huge layer of work on communicating with the client and formalizing the information received.
Maxim ArshinovCo-founder of the High-Tech Group, CTO. Project team leader«Bars Group» places high demands on the administrative component of the work. When a team of 5-7 people works in the same office, it’s enough to just stand up and talk to a colleague to resolve questions. When dozens of people work on a project at the same time, this is impossible.
I was pleasantly surprised at how effectively this issue was resolved at „Bars Group“. The processes are clearly structured. From the side of ‘barses’, there are always employees with their area of responsibility, everything is solved as quickly as possible. We even decided to borrow some practices on working with the version control system.
Maxim ArshinovCo-founder of the High-Tech Group, CTO. Project team leaderThanks to territorial proximity, we got fast interaction - the developers of Hightech could be at a meeting at the Bars Group at any time and work together on the issues.
The first thing I liked about working with Hightech was the low barrier to entry into ongoing projects. The guys really take on the task, pass it through themselves - not just sit and manage resources, but also generate ideas. I liked the personal involvement of Maxim Arshinov and Andrey Pesoshin in the process. Another highlight of Hightech is having a dialogue. At first, colleagues found themselves in difficult conditions, because it was difficult for them to fit into corporate standards, but these rough edges quickly smoothed out in conversation.
Anatoly MladshevDeputy CEO, «Bars Group»The developers of Hightech went on training from the Bars Group, passed the certification stages and learned how to work on the technological stack of the integrator.
When working with Bars Group, we did not have the feeling that we were working in different companies. Colleagues at all levels perfectly understood the tasks and goals, and cooperation is built in the context of solving the tasks. We are always confident in the agreements reached, while there is always an opportunity to correct something if the situation has changed and new opportunities beneficial for both parties have appeared.
